Hi!
Has anybody else got this message when windows starts. I get it all the time. It says also that Memento now will exit, and then it works perfect when I press Ok. I use Windows XP and Memento v. 1.12.

Memento will basically only give you this error when it detects that it is already running.
If you keep getting it when Windows starts, then all I can think of is that you have it configured to start twice somehow. So the first one works, then the second copy starts up and warns you of the problem, and quits when you click OK. The first copy is still running ok, so that's why you can still use Memento.
I'm not sure how this would happen, as I've never encountered it, but maybe it's in both your own startup group and the 'common' startup group.
Try using something like StartUp control panel to check which programs are configured to start when you log in. Startup control panel is here:

There are other similar utilities, but I've found that one works quite well.
